Every month Activities
A student's calendar at Freedom Home is never empty. Every month brings a new outing into the community — skating, boat rides, the zoo, the aquarium, sporting events, museums, and more — turning what could be a routine week into something to look forward to. Layered on top is a full year of seasonal celebration, with themed parties for Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter and Passover, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and beyond —
a rhythm of festivities that gives the year its shape. And through it all, health and wellness stay front and center: students take part in Special Olympics along with sports, fitness, exercise, and swimming programs built to improve overall wellbeing, build strength and confidence, and make sure every win — big or small — gets celebrated.
